What car have you got count?

Only time I find that revs get up to 4k is if I have cruise control set on 100KMH and kick it in while doing 60KMH.

Thinking different cars with different cruise controls me be a factor here, my supra with factory fitted cruise control maintains constant speed with minor fluctuation of revs apart from going up a steep incline
