You do however need a DFS if you want the S/P to reflect true value - the market dictates the need for a DFS to get new punter$$$ and Broker$ interested - As for being a waste of money it has been largely completed and paid for - Numerous company releases have stated that Knight Piesold , Lycopodium and AMC consultants were engaged by the comapny to do the DFS and the deciscion to go ahead and spend $200m now closer to $400m on the Rocklands project was in fact based on this document.

Further confirmation can be found on page 8 of the 2013 annaul report under director Hutchisons Bio. - Real facts are sadly lacking in the CDU threads these days much better to divert attention to the froth and bubble stuff like the daily copper price and LME stock levels.
