I agree with everything you said.

The point I was trying to make was that when large cashed-up companies wish to diversify into some new area of operation they tend to acquire existing businesses rather then start from scratch themselves.

I figured that may make NTC a potential takeover target.

...or would there be better targets for GE in Australia?
