IM: "always jumping in to try and catch out, and badger, whichever "Rightie" happens to be on. Jumping on them mid-sentnce, interrupting, telling them to hurry up with their answers, or even more rudely, to "shoosh!"."

He does that with everyone mike. You only see what you want to see.

As for Pyne, he is typical of most parliamentarians. They regurgitate party policy ad nauseam, using up more than their allotted time so that they can hog the limelight. In fact Pyne is worse than most. He doesn't care much for the rules on this show which is to answer the questions quickly and succinctly and prefers to ramble on. There are four other panelists on the show that Jones needs to get to plus many more questions to be asked so he needs to keep the pace up.

Plus, if a politician is getting away from the subject he will interrupt to get it back on track.

Those are the rules, but then I suppose with the born to rule brigade you believe the Libs should be able to do what they want.

As for him not knowing who Reed was, who gives a flying... That question was a waste of time (though I am astonished that so many here don't know - Liberace fans I guess...)
