A big increase in dividend payouts on the back of some excellent numbers.
Up 13%.
I'd certainly be thinking long and hard before offloading holdings in ANZ. The SP always climbs back up. Plus I'm not sure if the SP will fall as much as previously assumed after the Ex date, given the current and future earnings prospects of the company.
P/ Book value is still about 1.9
Compare that to the CBA with a ratio of 2.5.
That is a gap that will close and soon.
