they then all rely on the fact that sooner or later a brazen crook at some incestuous company will get an audacious package through, and before too long, the rest of the pack gravitate towards the same level of enrichment.

and the salary & options packages are just the start... check out some of the gratuitous payout packages... I saw one two-bit company the other day that has built in a ONE YEAR pay out clause for their "key staff" - not bad considering that particular company has only been in existence for ten years, and several of the "key staff" member have only been employed for a couple of years!

the good news is I found the queue to get tickets for these sort of gravy trains...
