62strat - obviously this announcement is of far smaller concern to BHP given its relative size to OEL. So will every announcement along the way with Cinco be. It's not a big deal to BHP. It could be a company-maker to OEL.
And I completely disagree about this announcement being some sort of non-event. There is a massive difference between "we expect to make a deal" and "we have a deal". Especially in this case, given how long this has dragged on and the doubts many had voiced.
