Agree with everything you've said Ewob but I still think they use the shorting to grease the slippery slope when they want to take the price down. Soak up the willing buyers then step in and smash it down...the mum and dad fear factor then kicks in to finish off the slide. I can sympathise with Mum and Dad, I feel the fear at times too but I have at least trained myself to never sell. Guess that's why I have a lot of shares and not much money :)
