Well there's the thing . I didn't know about this scheme until someone posted something about it a little while ago .

There's a whole lot of things ( let's call them types of assistance ) that the government provides from taxes .

This is just one of them .

It's kind of government housing except they are getting the private sector to carry the load .

It's really a government policy issue rather than a property issue so maybe you can take that aspect of it to the politics thread ?
