If the libs won all the senate seats up for grabs, they still would not have a mandate for 8 months but back to the DD. It doesn't matter what you or I think, all that matters is those senators who have just won six years on the gravy train. If THEY think Abbott will throw down the gauntlet, they will seriously consider their chances of not getting re-elected, and they would have good cause for caution. Whoever is seen to CAUSE the DD will not be popular and a sizeable percentage of the electorate believe the libs DO have a mandate. You and I are but one vote each.
