SOME well-known names are helping to liven up the oil space. Glenn Davis, chairman at Beach Energy (BPT), and Jayme McCoy, former MD at Sundance Energy Australia (SEA), are behind Pawnee Energy, which will backdoor list through Island Sky Australia (ISK), which appears not to have set the market on fire with machines that make drinking water from humidity in the air. Pawnee wants $8m for its exploration in Kansas.
And Norm Zillman, who was in the delivery theatre for a range of resource floats including Queensland Gas Co (QGC), Blue Energy (BUL) and Bandanna Energy (BND), is part of the team launching shale hopeful Real Energy Corp (RLE).It is seeking $10m for work on the 809,371ha it controls in the Cooper-Eromanga basins.
