re: Ann: Dyesol to Join SPECIFIC as an Indust... The only reason shareholders applied for $22.5m shares was the ridiculous stag profit on offer. You would be a mug not to.

DYE and TATA/Pilkington were already working on DSC steel/glass long before SPECIFIC/SBEC. It makes sense to realign with these activities with the support of the government in Wales.

DYE, through the strategic investment by Tasnee, has moved out from under the cover of TATA/Pilkington to work directly with SPECIFIC. They are industrial partners, not just technology providers to other industrial partners.

The business case for solid state DSC must be compelling. Liquid had already achieved what was required for initial products, but the ssDSC opportunity must be worth the wait now that they have Tasnee funding.

Remember - Tasnee won't be selling those shares on market. If the SP drops, that will be due to traders, not investors. A drop will provide opportunities for those who believe in the DYE story.

I don't see the Timo, Pilkington, TATA projects as failing. This is a structural change, not an admission of failure. I note that Ohio funding has been on hold and now the Aust government (the new one, not the old one) is talking to DYE about grant funding for a Glass project in Australia. This Australian government would be well aware of the interest in DYE that the Wales government has. DYE were already looking at rolling the Timo project into Dyetec at some point.

Going concern? All pre-revenue companies have issues with the going concern question. Initially they are OK, but the longer it takes to get to a revenue state, the more risk there is that investors will give up. For DYE, the story has been frustrating, but the technical progress and market opportunity is compelling.
