Nabaru, after having a talk to Darren and looking at the flow sheet (which I should have done from the start), it appears neither of us had it fully correct;
The only material that goes to tailings comes from the cyclone. This can be seen in the flow sheet in the annual report on pg 16. All "waste" from the Gemini table goes back through the circuit to recover that remaining gold. The flow sheet doesn't show that path back through the circuit (nor does it show any material from the Gemini going to tailings or to any stockpile). It appears that the flow sheet is meant to be a simplified guide only. So while you were correct that there is a fair amount of gold in the "waste" from the Gemini table; that will not influence the overall recoveries because all of that material goes back through the circuit. We will need to wait for final results to know what the exact number will be but it certainly looks like it will be relatively quite high.
