I had to put my hands over my dog's ears when I sounded out your post! I glanced at the knife on the table...but then I caught myself and I whispered "perovskite" in his ear in a real distant, cold, soviet rugged mineralogy mountain range kinda voice while gazing into the distant distance...

Yes, and the change is solid state.

And liquid didn't fail, it's just been superceded before it was born...the PhD's and articles coming out now are probably of historical interest to a large extent but there's still a market in thin film/portable apps for this of course and it will continue to evolve for the "smaller" market.

Dyesol has always been and remains a risky investment but they are still surviving and if Tasnee becomes true cornerstone then now more than at any time over the past 8 years things are looking promising.

As ever in this latest move, the smart bunny appears to be the Welsh government but if we can get into glass locally it will make me very happy indeed...

On SPECIFIC, I remember some bemoaning the absence of DYE on this effort - at the time it was sensible considering the SBEC/TATA JV, but now Dye are out of the TATA waiting room - and TATA will get what they were after anyway but probably at a higher price eventually... who knows...

New technology, new plan, I'm glad they're nimble enough to exploit existing relationships and get involved in the biggest available game in the country that has the smartest renewables government moving on new tech...
