re: Ann: Apache farms-in to coastal and easte... Buru cannot produce from either Ungani or Ungani North over any length of time without the grant of a production licence. As I understand it, the production licences will not be granted until agreement is reached with all groups which claim Native Title over parts of the 4 blocks constituting Buru's production licence application.

I think resolution is probably at least 6 months off, though I do hope I'm proved wrong on this point.

Having said that, even if full Ungani production is delayed by Native Title, they will still likely be able to resume the EPT , but I don't think they could do this for more than a few months. Also, I think they will still be clear to pursue the exploration program on trend, notwithstanding any new Heritage issue which might arise.
