Could BHP be wanting to buy Otto's share of SC55? It would be taxi fare for BHP - and they get it all….What's a fair price for Otto's percentage…$100 mil? More? Less?

Or….I've been at this a while - and never seen an occurrence of an operator putting the hard word on a junior partner to squeeze down their percentage before a drill. Not saying it never happens - but you'd think the contracts drawn up would solidly preclude it. So I think that scenario would end up in a Philippine court for about twenty years….

Should BHP walk on this….dream on if you think the Chinese will step in to take their place. The Philippines and China are barely talking to each other….and in the Philippines the contempt for China has been growing for the last year - just about universal now. The government would never approve a Chinese operator on SC55 in my opinion. I'd say Aquino is more likely to give Subic Bay back to the Americans….

Can hardly wait to see what is going on with this….If BHP walks - I suspect it will be difficult to find another partner with their financial firepower….and would expect to see OEL in the 9's…until someone else capable steps in. If BHP buys Otto's share of SC55….could see 15-20 cents….and provide Otto with enough money to get Africa up and running….assuming some success…..LOL - maybe even another go at Duhat….
