It wasn't my assessment of Tanya Plibersek that elevated her to the role of DOL, nor was it my assessment of her husband that landed him such senior roles in the NSW public service - you need look no further than Barry O'Farrell!

Australia is the only developed nation that was never off its feet throughout the GFC and its aftermath - even Abbott's concocted budget emergency has been exposed as a fraud.

As for Tony Abbott's ducking, weaving, hiding and avoiding performance since gaining office 2 months ago; that record speaks for itself:

. Parliament has still not resumed!
. Abbott has only fronted the media on 8 occasions of his own choosing and basically refuses to respond to questions without notice.
. There is every sign that Abbott is paying back his key backers - from drinks and dinner for journos at Kirribilli House to rewarding big business [blatantly apparent with the appointment of the head of the BCC to undertake his politically motivated 'audit'].
. Abbott's humiliatingly apologetic international performance has been jaw-droppingly inept:
