The SP is sort of meaningless (for long termers), apart from the psychology of a very low price and market cap (for investors and customers) and critically, if there is enough cash to get the company by for the next 2-3 years.
Does anyone know the current approx cash position and budgeted annual expenditure?
So, the way I see it, Cash on hand is key, because we do know that Unilife are not going to be swamped with revenue in the next 6 months, based on past announcements. At best, we could hope that small deals will cover running costs, if that.
Somehow, AS is going to have to conjure up some amazing deals in the near term, but the reality is that anything major might not happen for at least a year or more.
I guess BD and others may be watching closely - perhaps some smaller boutique competitors are open to discussions.
I guess it is all looking rather gloomy, but as I said, the key is Cash on hand. Without this, I'd imagine AS might be having some interesting meetings and telephone conversations behind closed doors...
