At least two sets of drill bits have passed by this patch of the drill tube on at least two different occasions and neither of them has completely removed whatever it is that stuck the packer.
When you have passed two separate drills past a point with no indication that there was going to be a problem, what would you have had them do?
By the time it was stuck and they became aware of the issue it was too bloody late.
Their advice from the experts would have been to do what they have done.
What would you have done differently????
