It's up to individuals on what they give.

Disaster of this size will need many foreign Governments to step in with supplies and heavy machinery.

Maybe USA can send their Nuclear Nimitz class aircraft carrier to supply electricity , fresh water and doctors and surgical teams.

I do believe a lot of aid money will be siphon off before it gets there, if ever to those in need. But every little bit helps.
