I believe DAP may have some merit but there are problems associated with green influence. The Greenies need to be shoved out of the way, except perhaps for voluntary tree plantings and the like. (if that's what they want)
The farmers and graziers are the most environmentally conscious people we have in this country. If the DAP works with this group instead of against it like the greenies have, then yes, there can be something positive come of it.
Even at best though, it will be a false economy just to please the AGW cult. Yes, a wasye, but retrieving something from the wreck if we have to go down this path.
