I don't like the use of the word "cure" of course I like the outcome but the whole "cancer cure" line gets thrown around to frequently - it's like the miracle on the horizon that all search for but I think the word just gets a bit hypey. Ideally the ability to put the patients in remission &/or extend the quality of life is the objective of all cancer drugs - but of course that is only my opinion.
The PAT-SM6 combination trial with Onyx is targeting blood cancer & multiple melanoma but that's not the only cancer where it has been able to bind to solid tumors trials just haven't extended that far - breast, colon and pancreatic.
PAT-SC1 is primed for licensing with Phase II data in Gastric Cancer.
PAT-LM1 but with recent patent updates in US is still pre-clinical but strong potency against colon, lung, breast, ovary and pancreatic cancers - suggestions by company it may move into clinic 2014.
