I agree there were a lot of posts on here today that indicated an ignorance of the path taken by Typhoon Haiyan and a lack of sensitivity of the damage it has wrought

However, With tens of thousands of Filpinos dead and many millions homeless, as a result of Typhoon Haiyan, I am sure there are many more serious issues to address than why MML made the briefest possible statement today.

Based on previous occasions when adverse weather has affected Mindanao, MML will be offering practical support wherever it can, even if that is not reflected in an announcement they were obliged to release today. Given that many of MML's senior management are probably at the mine, and communication with Perth is no doubt difficult, the focus was no doubt on helping the local population rather than on delivering a word perfect announcement.

If you are going to use Facebook to try and achieve something, why not focus 100% on trying to deliver something positive rather then picking on a company which actively supports its local community as detailed in slides 14-16 of http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20131108/pdf/42kqx69fhwz5pp.pdf published on 08-Nov-13.

A bit surprised here that you are spending any time today looking at HC and lashing out at MML rather than focusing 100% on helping your fellow Filipinos.
