I just saw an interview on ABC with Morris Newman, the liberals contact in the Corporate representation.
He is calling for a much lower basic wage in Australia and was using the Canadian 22,500 annual basic wage example. He is also saying that our economy cannot withstand the previous investment in our education system. He actually referenced the former work choices.
IMO it is the first warning the Liberals are going to look seriously at lowering the basic wage and introducing something similar to work choices.
Just what we need? Go down the U.S. track with a new class of working poor and uneducated low class.
The above is just my take on the short interview and my opinion only on what the man said,.
