I am aware that many come from neglectful households ( Although drug addiction crosses all social & economic boundries )

This makes my arguement even stronger.

The introduction of illicit drugs to individuals to get them hooked is the whole aim of the drug trade...to get new "clients."

The fact that many of these "clients " are vulnerable because of their background, makes the actions of the traffickers even more despicable.
