All of these seemingly wise sophistries cannot conceal the fact that they do not really care about illicit drug addiction, have no solution (as though multi-faceted means anything; it could include the DP) and scarcely conceal that many of them have used or are still using these drugs themselves.
This now deceased young man was not one of "us" but is opposed to those of us who long passionately to see the devastation that drugs like heroin cause eliminated. i.e. Those of us who have experienced sorrow and pain at the personal and involvement (with addicts) level. Their bluster is emotional uninformed and childlike in its petulance
