Yes that would be my expectation. Also greatly improved health & safety which is almost non existent some industries in Phil.

Don't get me started on Govt though and corruption, Phil has made improvements but still has a long way to go and as always its the people that pay a very heavy price.

I use to know some that worked in mining industry but haven't kept in contact with them. I'll check with some friends in Davao see if I can contact someone who works for Medusa, be interesting to hear what they have to say themselves.

Just as shame it's Mindanao, anywhere else would be very easy to go out to the mine and have a look around and chat to the miners living in the nearby Barangays
