Sadghuru is a beautiful, highly conscious human being. As he says,

"Mind is eternally confused; the more intelligent you are, the more confused you are...only an idiot is dead sure about everything, idiots are always dead sure about everything. Do you see the dead confidence which with idiots walk in the world. An intelligent person will hesitate with every step, because there are many possibilities. You have a single track mind, you walk with great confidence.

It is to get this confidence that the majority of people in the world are using religion to get this idiotic confidence within themselves...'God is with us'.

Once you believe this, there is no stopping you, it empowers you, but it is disastrous for the world. Absolutely disastrous for the world.

Always this has been the history of humanity, but right now (2004) we have a classic situation going..."

Humility, meekness, turning the other cheek are much frowned upon in our current upside down world. In relatively recent years we have even had a professed Christian politician actively inculcating the importance of pride into the national psyche, whilst forgetting that the Christian faith is supposed to abhor prideful thoughts. "Pride cometh before a fall" was actually taught to earlier generations.

Now we see this faulty attitude displaying its evil effects everywhere you look whether it be rampaging drunks in Kings Cross, Sunnis versus Shia in the ME, soccer hooligans in Britain and Europe or the manipulation of entire nations to go to war against people in far flung lands who in reality pose a minimal threat to our existence.

Buddha was undoubtedly a great mystic, however he was not the only one. In fact there have been many and each one had a different slant on the developed human consciousness or so-called enlightenment.

Ddzx you may like to consider these words. A little humility goes a long way, especially when you wish to influence other people in an uplifting manner, rather than chasing them away. Communication is supposed to go both ways.

No one is right and no one is wrong, especially when it comes to spirituality. Each finds the path that takes them towards experience of the ineffable joy.
