Hotcopper is a share market forum, and in a forum people have the ability and freedom to say whatever they like within the rules... By stating that in their opinion something is cheap and can go up 10 times or 100 times isn't wrong, it is just their opinion... The real problem with PSY and stocks like it is that investors don't do their own research and rely on what somebody else says... We are dealing with real money that can have effects on peoples emotions because money is vital for living... Sometimes motions can get out of control and greed takes over and people do things that they don't normally do, thinking that a stock will go up 10 times or 100 times and make them rich without doing any research at all...

It makes me cringe how many posts I saw today and yesterday that said they invested because the presentation looked good or that they invested without knowing anything about the company or what they do or the product they have...

This is a vital lesson, and everybody makes mistakes, everybody will make huge mistakes in life but if you learn from them then it will hold you in good stead later on, but for those that never learn and do the same things over and over and over again and keep losing then those I don't feel sorry for, especially if you invested at over inflated prices without doing any research at all and investing/gambling what you cannot afford to lose...

It's not fibs fault this has happened, he/she made a remarkable observation and should take credit for picking a huge winner, it's those that followed you should blame yourselves if you didn't take proper money management and stop looking at others to blame...
