There has been some talk on here about affordability i.e. house price vs average wages .
This is where I see some potential opportunity . While some big inner city prices are pushing the ratio right up , there are other areas where the ratio is reasonable imo .
Your comment about those GC areas you mentioned seem to support that theory . Of course , there are many other factors that come into it , e.g. employment .
The prices that you mentioned seem to be at an affordable level to me .
I wonder whether you could make a comment about the prices vs affordability vs employment in that area ? My understanding is that the GC area is far more services oriented and therefore very sensitive to tourism. It's probably unique in the Australian property market in that way I suspect .
