How amazing the stock market can be! As you grow more confident in your ability to analyse the trend of the market, from a local point of view, and internationally. Also understand the global effect has on the overall make up the markets around the world. The prices of commodities and the effect on resource stocks, the Interest rates across the globe and the currency position of the global super powers.
The flow of money out of bank accounts when Interest rates are so low, into bank shares which when entered in the early stages, the return on equity invested by dividends outweighs any safe low Interest that banks and financial institutions have on offer.
We are in a market that the world has neither encountered nor has witness in the pass, so there no blue print to gauge where we likely to head over the next 12 months.
Gone are the days when the experts would gaze at their market watch cycle and use the economic numbers for the future based on the pass.
There are some major headwinds coming in the New Year of 2014, and carrying out your own research is a must. No one can guide you on this, so individually we must accept what we see and believe as to the decisions we make.
Take time out from your busy day, and peel back the all ords. The market is being driven by the top 20 to 30 market capitalization stocks. Remove them and the all ords would be a shadow of where we sit today. Unlike other eras, the world markets are not rising as they did in the pass.
My advice to you is go behind the scene and have a real look at the specs to mid stocks of today and compare them to yesteryear as a guide to the real wealth and health of the market in today’s society.
Now you are probably wondering what’s the point of all this? Well, the point is that you are all asking the market to give you what you have witnessed in the pass, as a guide to your future aspirations. Unlikely at best, that your wishes will be met and many will be disappointed because you don’t understand how the world markets have changed!
The current market in the speculative and mid cap stocks is so depressed that you need to announce to the market that you have reinvented the wheel, just to get noticed.
Indication as to the stupidity of investing in the specs and mid cap stocks today compared to one year ago. If I told you that the oil price WTI and BRENT Crude is approximately the same today as the prices in 2012, what would your reply be? Neon share price 12 months ago was 0.245cents. In 12 months, Neon with all its major drilling and now steady increase in oil production, along with the Glau drilling project starting soon, this is all the market could muster! Even if you take into consideration over 12 months ago, we as Neon share holders had nothing to look forward to for many months to come. Yet at the end of June 2013, the share price closed at 0.24 cents.
Mad shares recently double over night on appointment of a new CEO. Maybe if Neon was to announce the reappointment of our CEO to the market, the share price could wake up the fund managers and we could see a break of 0.36 cents.
Here is a question. When did Neon last close above 0.36 cents? My point to why our share price is what it is is due to having one or more major share holder(s) or more than one broker working to satisfy their own agenda. This is having a huge detrimental effect on Neon’s share price. I would even go to say, that the manipulation is having the desired effect on many share holders and hence why the share price is struggling to keep a steady uptrend never mind keeping the share price above 0.30 cents.
The damage is so great, that it will take some body with loads of cash or a major fund to get onboard and take out this capping player(s). In other words, blow them apart with absolute fear of appraisal bestow upon them.
Summing up, we are being played! Stop asking the market to give you what you expect, ask that you find that the company’s PR department can finally break through and get a major to jump onboard and blow away the rubbish.
Good luck
