I work in oil and gas and I have not seen repairs like this, normally done by external sleeves, wrapping or by entering the pipeline and putting new liners on internally with all the safety concerns this type of operation raises.
If this works as they say it does then it will be great and save many $'s and be a far safer way of completing the work.
One concern is the fa1lure at 50 Barg as many nat gas pipelines work at higher pressures.
