positive outlook on property thread, page-16

I had an agent in the other day after a property I have is to become vacant (tenant bought their first home). The figures for selling looked great and we would walk away with many hundreds of thousands extra in the bank.

We really thought hard about it. In the end, all the $$$$ in the bank earning a few % is just lazy money which we don't need. Owning the property is no problem at all, it is well positioned, quality and very conservatively funded. We sleep well.

The market is going hard and starting to look like lots of fear of missing out from potential buyers.

Will sit it out, get on with life and see where the cards fall in a few years.

I think it will be higher than today's prices but in the end it is not high on our thoughts or agenda. Owning on the right terms and the right places provides some comfort.

Extra funds from here go into super.

    Best to all
