As an EGO shareholder going through the same as most on here I think the whole sue someone is a curly one. On one hand I agree it should not be done in the way it has. The other hand I put myself in the other situation where if I was aware that people were making comments publicly that were not correct and could cause damage to my reputation I would be very upset and concerned as like most of us on here would be. If someone was out there saying something untrue about your wife, kids or family you couldn't sit back and think "oh they have a right to voice their opinion" wrongly or rightly.

I think there needs to be a system in place whereby instead of suing someone straight off the bat and causing great financial stress, they can request by law all parties attend a tribunal of sorts to actually discuss it and provide reasoning behind comments and to provide facts etc. to back it up. Then if it has been proven to be untrue a public apology or sorts has to be made and maybe a contribution made to a charity within financial reason and capacity. Dragging people through the courts is a waste of money and reputation for a company really. Does more harm than good.

I do feel for Mr Marshall as EGO was his baby from inception and he would feel like this baby is being ripped away. I just hope sense can prevail and maybe he can still work with ERM vice versa for the good of the company and all.
