"Some argue that the Earth is re-greening due to the extra CO2 in the ecosystem. So why would plants be absorbing less of it?

Finally, in the last two decades, global dimming has stopped and even reversed slightly."

    1. less sunlight means less photosynthesis - you can chuck as much CO2 as you like at a plant - but if it has less light it can't absorb it.

    2. Wrong on global dimming stopping and reversing.

Yes, it did for a short time - but started dimming again and is now as far as I know.

We had very very clear evidence about global dimming in the week or so after 9/11 - the evidence is crystal clear.

And, yes, global dimming is cooling things a bit, it is thought -- but, that is talking about warming and cooling - not talking about more CO2 from lack of photosynthesis and storage in trees and veg. etc.

It imo is very clearly obvious that there are big moves here - but we aren't following them much.

Is it not deeply suspicious why we are not funding major research into what may be happening here?

The faint evidence we have is almost overwhelming is it not?

Man made CO2 is a flys fart of bugger all compared to all CO2.

But -- the southern hemisphere CO2 levels are lagging the Northern hemisphere - even though we are told the gas mixes rapidly.

    Well, - isn't that odd.

What can we conclude from that? We can conclude 'again' that man made CO2 directly is making bugger all difference - but something else is -------- and if we look at the population difference between the N and S hemisphere AND we know that manmade CO2 is not causing the difference - what else is there?

    Enter, global dimming.

One look at the sky in Europe/Asia etc. versus one look at the sky in Australia/NZ - tells a very clear story.

Skies that aren't clear in the N and clear in the S.

Again - what effects do not having a clear sky give you?

    LESS sunlight.

What effect does less sunlight give you?

    Less photosynthesis.

What effect does less photosynthesis give you?

    Less plant uptake of CO2.

    Less storage of it.

What does less uptake give you?

    Higher concentrations in the atmosphere.

    How difficult is this?

What is the single biggest factor identified, clearly proven to give us less sunlight?

    Aeroplanes.

    Again, how complex is this?

    have a great arvo
