stolwyk, I am not using oil has as fundamental I am using oil as an example of how a market works, use cotton, Soya beans or whatever you want, the point is the same.
The fundamentals can be great, but that does not mean prices will rise and this was the case with oil, after the hurricanes the fundamentals for oil become supercharged, but oil didn't rise. I predicted months in advance in my reports that oil would peak at 70 way before any of the hurricanes formed using cycles and resistance points and I was correct even in a time period where the fundamentals improved dramatically right at the top of the market, but yet prices did not and could not rise.
Here is a longer-term look at the Gold VS USD:
As you can see at times prices move against each other, but in the end they converge REGARDLESS OF ANY WORLD EVENT, ANY INTEREST RATE OR ANY FUNDAMENTLES and there is enough data there to prove this fact.
