    Hi Jaw :)

I'm not usually a buy-and-hold merchant, but I do believe in letting the winning trends run, and cutting one's losses. So far, I'm still holding TOX because the trend is still well and truly in place.

Towie - I know I can offset a capital gain against capital losses, but hopefully a successful trader doesn't have that many dollars on the loss side of the ledger. Lots of little losses maybe, but some big winners. And the overall equation should be (and is in my case) that I don't have enough losses to be offset by the capital gain from TOX. So, waiting until the 12 months is up is very appealing, but of course, using a trailing stop, if the trend rolls over, then I'm out. I'm not going to hold onto them to get a CGT discount if the price is falling....
