Everybody gets it wrong but its how long you stay there that really counts, I took a $1,000 then $9,000 position in that ETC dog and i knew I was well wrong I wasnt even in hope mode that long I just sat there and felt sorry for myself as my capital got nailed.
I just hedged my whole year on an almighty collapse in Telstra and I was right, its a trading stock now and it will have ups and downs but long term its doomed which suits me fine. I have always been a long term investor in ERA BOC BHP FGL ANZ WOW and a few others but the phone company and AMP always didnt smell right to me!
I sold a $130,000 parcel in MAP and put most of it into QGC throughout the year and am target for my first $20,000 plus week out of my CFD account.
Mistakes I made were not going long Gold on the futures exchange last year and long Nikkei, but hti slevel of trading will come to me as I build up my stake and experience. CFD trading is just a training ground for serious profit seekers I believe.
As for being full of bull, how do you think I would feel when TEN comes off a dollar within the year and I told you about it but didnt actually back it for 200,000 units, pretty silly hey!
