    I ask myself why is OBJ only worth 2.3c when we have all these behemoth and leviathan companies talking to a minnow like us. By right the sp should already be north of 20 cps. Not only are they talking, but they’re funding our research for heaven’s sake!!

    I was sceptical for a long time despite all the compelling evidence provided by our erstwhile contributors like Abdm, Surges et al. And why?

    Because (1) It was taking such a long time – From the first GSK contact till now.
    What is so complicated about a simple patch to deliver something thru your skin?
    Surely, they must have lost interest and OBJ are not telling us! I realised I was wrong. It is a lot more complex than it seems. The skin is an astounding organ. Many things need to be considered. For instance did you know that skin thru the scrotum absorbs stuff 40 times faster than the skin on your forearm? The armpits and soft side of your elbows are somewhere in between. You could easily overdose if you’re not careful!
    We now know that they are going full pelt with it (see the 2012 patent application). The research is just justifiably taking a long time from the sheep vaccination to today.

    And (2) I couldn’t find any announcements by the giant companies themselves about OBJ. All the announcements were from our side. It seemed to me that we were blowing our own trumpet and that we were that insignificant fly buzzing around their heads and not worthy of mention. They’d throw a bit of petty cash on our research and then give us the flick when they didn’t like our technology. We didn,t even rate a mention.

    Here at last was a monster of a company proudly announcing their collaboration with a microbe (us) as one of their milestones for the year. What is so very impressive for me is that in the whole company profile, spanning from 1958 to now, OBJ is the ONLY company mentioned doing a collaborative development agreement…They do NOT willy nilly collaborate with anyone. A whale talking about a minnow!!! We do matter to the big guns.

    There is so much else that’s compelling – just read Abdm’s posts!!!

    Remember when Philosophy was simple? Yeah, those days are over.

    According to this article, as of yesterday, Philosophy agreed to an exclusive partnership with the OBJ company to sell their E-Skin device. Apparently it is some sort of machine that uses magnetism to infuse products into the skin through a patented process called Dermaportation.     It seems that there was a lot of interest from American cosmetic companies in this technology.* I'm guessing Coty had to pay an arm and a leg to get it, which can only mean that this product will be e-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e.
