    There you have it, race is an entirely different thing from culture. Yes, different races came to this country and adopted a common culture of hard work, self reliance and broader community spirit. Like the other poster said, a melting pot.

    Listen to the language, what we have now is separate 'communities'... gay community, indian communities, etc etc rather than people who are all just a little bit different from one another in a broader inclusive community. The language is devised to divide.

    Race is different to religion which is different to culture.

    I come from Europe, and the answer is NO, categorically.
