The navy said no such thing to Reith or Howard, yet they both payed it to the end. The sickening thing are that a) Reith had asked journalists, particularly onABC 774, the intimidating question, "Do you question the veracity of the navy's observations?" and b) Beazo the bozo went on with the same crap as the govn't. Not an inclink of an investigation until it was all too late. Disgusting. There were, of course, as there are now, those who were so embarrassed that their hero either made such a dreadful mistake or led everyone so sleazily down the ugly path of lies-and-more-lies that they had to jump to his defence then and, still being so embarrassed, stay on defend him. Be free of that. Howie never needed your defence, never cared for anyone's defence and couldn't care a stuff where he's taking this country. My memory on that issue is very clear!
