that is bollocks - obviously KAR don't have any rock solid reserve numbers yet - we all know that - but they do have a huge volume of reasonable contingent numbers. Any O&G firm would be able to crunch the maths and determine a suitably discounted in-situ valuation for the KAR assets.
Therefore to say there will be no takeover because there is nothing to sell is totally disingenuous!!
Personally I don't thing there will be a takeover anytime soon because the board, and several of the major shareholders WOULD NOT entertain any low-ball bid at this point in time.
If you want to scare us mate, you'll need to do more than jump out from behind a curtain and say "Boo!"
