Why did they buy the other 50% of tailings? Well because who ever sold it made a huge profit already. If I remember correctly the 50% was acquired for $300000. Whoever held it wasn't in it for the long haul. They wanted someone to come buy it off them. For the first time the tailings is owned by one entity and therefore things can finally move forward. No more 2nd and 3rd party interests to worry about.
