I just received an SMS from nab to authorise a transfer from my account. I called them and said I didn't organise todo a transfer . They have the details of the account where the money was to go to. It's an and account, I said they could trace who is doing it, basically I was told they can't. That's ridiculous , they can catch these thieves , they have the details etc. Luckily I have to confirm the transfer or I would have lost $500. Anyone else encounter this?
vodafone did a direct debit out of my credit card last month, which i did not authorise!
