I now believe that the poor old saver with no other choice is trying to preserve his nest egg by investing in equities with full realisation that the rising indicies are being pumped up by QE alone and hope that they can exit in a millisecond. Hense the volatility every time the clowns at the Fed spook them with the taper word.
