I'm a bit surprised at this talk of a disappointing AGM and presentation... what was disappointing about the presentation?

Let's put it into context, the AGM presentation's 'theme' from 2012 was all about the medium term future of the company.

The theme from this presentation was about the enormous accomplishments of the past 12 months (for which they won the emerging company of the year award at the Aus Biotech Conference) and what the company had planned and set itself to achieve over the next 12 months (expanding on from what we've heard about in ongoing sales updates from Cardiocel, surgeon approval and safety results from HSV-2 trial). It was a very grown up presentation and reflected the board's and CEO's view that if Allied is to grow into a truly integrated global healthcare company there are some very definite goals which need to be achieved during the next 12 months.

I really can't understand how anyone can fault a company or a presentation which is concentrating very deliberately on the immediate future. And I think to do so reflects a very poor understanding of business and the way things get accomplished. Great things don't happen overnight, they take time and if they are to occur at all you have to get the groundwork correct. This is the message I took from the meeting yesterday.
