afternoon all,
I have been reading the story on phk.
It looks good, it looks like a good product. It looks like a product the world needs. It looks like a business an idiot could run (Buffet thoughts). It is way beyond a startup.
What I read impressed me ------------ but something stared me in the face and left me wondering why the hell?
This is a question guys - not a criticism.
Why doesn't this product sell more?
It has been on the market for years now - and the sales are, imo, for that length of time, for such an apparently wonderful product ----------- well, in short, bloody dreadful.
So, why?
And then ---------- what will change that?
I see people saying that big sales might just be around the corner ---------- what would have to change to make that happen?
I can sure see a very profitable company if revenue did go north. And I guess if you open up another market - particularly a big one like China, then that might make a difference ------------
but, if you can't sell the stuff in markets where it is now - why would China be different?
Because it's big? No, that one doesn't wash with me. Because it makes a lot of dirty water? Well, yes, it does, but there is a lot of agricultural run off in other countries also - and a lot of those countries are probably more caring about the environ than China - so that one might not wash either.
this isn't a backdoor downramp attack my friends. I could get very interested in a company that does this kind of thing -
but, you have to be able to sell the stuff - and to me, there must be a problem ---------
now where is it?
tia, have a great afternoon
