Have you actually listened to the Boyer Lectures on Radio National? I doubt it. If you had, you would know that she was introduced by Geraldine Doogue as Australia's Governor - General. There are four lectures in the series, the last of which occurs tomorrow, though how these egocentric and self indulgent chats can be termed lectures escapes me.
Her comments referred to on this thread while she still occupies the official position are absolutely out of line.
Mr Abbott's polite response was just that. Just imagine the fuss if he'd taken any other sort of approach!!
