The whole spy thing is just a reason for the average Muslim Indonesian to vent their hatred.
They hate us, they always have and always will.
They hate us because we are for the most part of white European ancestry.
This makes them feel inferior, because they know that almost everything they have and use in their daily lives from their motor vehicles to TV's, computers, modern building materials even their food and they way they cook it all comes from white European inventions.
Some people might find this jealousy and hatred difficult to understand but if look at some of the Muslim literature like the book 1001 Muslim Inventions which is extremely popular in the Muslim world you get a very good picture of the psyche of these people. The book outlines a 1001 inventions which Muslims have supposedly created for the world. The problem is in almost every case, if you do some basic research you will find that the inventions had been invented by non Muslims often many thousands of years before Islam. We are talking about incontrovertible facts. Try to imagine just how pathetic these people must of viewed themselves and still view themselves to come up with this stuff.
Theirs is a Muslim country and like all other Muslim countries their very religion and belief structure insures that they remain poor and pathetic. Only Muslim countries which have white men harvesting their natural resources have any money! It is their belief system which prevents them from taking stock and being self critical. It is because of this failed belief system they will always struggle and look for others to blame for their lot in life.
Abbott talks about the Indonesian growing middle class. These people do not create anything. The cut down their forest and plant palm oil trees. They get white people to harvest their natural resources. They sell their people off around the globe for cheap Labour. What will happen to Indonesia after this latest boom will be like what happens to most of the Asian countries, they will fall down. They never do real maintenance on any of their infrastructure, buildings hotels etc.. They are completely reliant upon us.
Listening to Abbott talk about Indonesia you would get the impression that Indonesia is this great economic power house.
Their GDP is about half that of Australia's and lets not forget they have 245 Million people. Their GDP per capita is about $3500.
You would also get the impression that Australia really needs this economic power house for out future. Our balance of trade with Indonesia is 1.5 Billion dollars in their favor. This is primarily because of the way their government deals with Australians trying to do business with them.
Also this doesn't include the millions spent in Bali on holiday.
We need them about as much as a whole in the head.
On top of all this our Government give them piles of cash for nothing.
I have lived in Asia for ten years and I speak two Asian languages. One thing I have learned in my time is South East Asia is; Asian don't respect people who give them hand outs. When we showered them in cash after the Tsunami their mentality is such that they regarded us Australians as a bunch of suckers.
Australia needs a big slap in the face with some cold water.
The Indonesian people are our enemies, they will always be our enemies. They know it and it is about time Aussie politicians started telling it like it is.
We should have nothing to do with them!
The Australian government should charge people a $5000 dollar fee if they go on holiday to Bali or any other dangerous place in the world. They should call it the dangerous place Tax. The Navy should sink these boats when they invade our country. You would only have to do it a few times and you would never have the problem again. Thailand towed a bunch of Muslim Burmese back out to sea and shot up their engines, they don't get any more boat people.
