US Govt is still printing money as can not balance its budget, and the country also has a continual balance of payments deficit does not look sustainable to me.
Each family is in hoc an average of $140K just based on Govt debt.
Only reason is the Dow went through 16000 is alternative investments like bonds are so low yielding and 16000 is a really an illusion due to the $US fall against other currencies.
Many gold producers are out of business once POG goes sub $US 1100 but that is a healthy floor for some of the lower cost producers
